Krav Maga Classes for Real-World Self-Defence

Krav Maga is a practical self-defence system focused on simple, direct responses to real situations. At Maverick Combatives, training is accessible, structured and suitable for beginners.

What you will learn

Students develop situational awareness, basic striking, functional movement, escape principles and defences against the most common types of attack. Alongside the physical skills, you’ll build the confidence and clear thinking needed to make better decisions in a stressful or threatening situation, both in and out of the gym.

Who it is for

Krav Maga at Maverick Combatives is open to adults and teenagers from age 11 upwards, including complete beginners, busy professionals and parents. Whether you’ve never trained before or you’re looking for something more realistic than traditional martial arts, our classes offer practical self-protection without an intimidating, competitive fight gym atmosphere.

Class experience

Every session starts with a warm welcome and clear, patient coaching. Classes combine partner drills with progressive practice, so you build skills at a pace that suits you, all within a safety-first training environment where beginners are genuinely welcome.
